Bear Necessities is a perfect cabin to spend a week, weekend or a special holiday with family or friends in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains!  This cabin has all the things that make a visit to the mountains “one to remember’!  Bear Necessities is located in the “Aska Road” adventure area where there is tubing down the river, hiking, canoeing and fishing!  Enjoy the mountains in the spring when all the rhododendrons and wild dogwoods come alive with vivid colors from a winters sleep.  The summer is a great time also with activities such as rafting, horseback riding, shopping, hiking and fishing!  The fall is a wonderful time as the mountains put on a spectacular show or red, gold and orange as the trees are in full glory!  Come visit in October as we have many fall festivals and mountain fairs that showcase local artists and crafts.  A trip to the mountains would not be complete without stopping at Mericers Apple Orchard to pick up some mountain apples, jams, jellies, apple cider or a favorite southern desert a “fried pie”!  Come visit the mountains in the winter with family and or friends and enjoy time together by the fireplace or just “kick-back” with a good book or soak in the hot tub!  The cabin also has a pool table and a wide screen TV!

Bear Necessities is a three level cabin that sleeps 8 people. This cabin is furnished with that touch of “upscale mountain flair” that gives you that feel of a mountain hideaway! There are 3 queens and twins with 3 bathrooms.  As you enter this cabin you are on the main/middle level which has the living room with a gas log fireplace, dining room, kitchen and a bedroom with a queen and a bath; this level also as two covered porches. 

Upstairs is an open loft with twins and a bedroom with a queen and bathroom.  Go downstairs to the lower level and you will find a family room with a big screen TV and a pool table.  This downstairs level also has a bedroom with a queen and a bathroom.  Just outside on this level is a screened porch with a hot tub for soaking away your worries or relax after a day of hiking or horseback riding.
