The soothing sounds of this trout stream will wash all your worries away as you sit on the screened porch and listen to the sounds of Mother Nature! Laughing Waters is only a few feet away from the stream whether you want to fish of dip your feet in the cool mountain water. You can walk up or down the stream as you try your hand at catching the “big one”!
Laughing Waters has a covered deck with a hot tub that is separate from the cabin. Enjoy the hot tub after a day of horseback riding, hiking or just relaxing! This cabin also has a screened porch with a picnic table and a ping-pong table.
Laughing Waters is a two level cabin that is decorated with that cozy mountain feel. The décor of this cabin is very exceptional and will have you wanting to come back to this mountain stream getaway time after time! The main level of this cabin has a living room, dining room, kitchen with a dishwasher and an enclosed porch that is on the stream side of the cabin. Enjoy a cozy afternoon or night by the gas log fireplace during the fall or winter. Cozy up with a good book or with friends or that special someone with a nice cup of coffee/hot chocolate or that special drink! This main level also has a bathroom, a bedroom with a queen and a bedroom with a full/twin bunk bed. Upstairs there is a king and another bathroom!
Come and visit Laughing Waters anytime of the year as Blue Ridge and our mountains offer you something to do no matter what the reason or season! Enjoy our fall festivals in the fall as local craftsmen display their special crafts and artwork! When you visit in the spring or summer, enjoy the stream at the cabin whether you fish or not. There is horseback riding, hiking, white water rafting, tubing, fishing or just relax from the hustle and bustle of your busy city life. Visit Mercier Apple Orchard and pick up some jams, jellies or some fresh mountain apples. Try one of Mercier’s famous southern “fried pie” which is a favorite with everyone and you might even want to take some home with you!!
