Blue Ridge Mountain Cabins, Pet Policy

We welcome guests with pets!

Please let us know in advance that you plan to bring your pets!

Adult dogs are permitted in some cabins. Puppies up to 15 months old are not permitted in any of the cabins. Dogs must be friendly, housebroken and free of fleas.

Cats must be friendly, housebroken, free of fleas and de-clawed. Not all cabins will allow a cat!

There is a $ 25.00 per pet, per stay, fee.

There will be an additional security deposit of $ 50.00 per pet per stay that will be guaranteed on a VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR CASH per pet per stay.

Should damage to the cabin, grounds or furnishing (including linens) or flea infestation occur; the Guest is responsible for said charges up to and beyond the pet security deposit that is guaranteed. These charges include the time involved by Blue Ridge Mountain Cabins, Inc. (Management Company) in correcting, clean up, fumigation, replacement, repair of said damages to the owner of the cabin and Blue Ridge Mountain Cabins, Inc. satisfaction!

Upon signing the “Credit Card Agreement and Policy” along with abiding by the Pet Policy you agreed to accept this charge and responsibility of the cost of these damages.

Bring bedding, crates and equipment essential for you pet's safety.

Should you leave the cabin be sure that your pet is secured in a pet carrier or a crate and not left to wander inside the cabin, screen porch or outside.

When outside be sure that your pet is within your control and not running free as there are other people at their cabins. We have had dogs to pick up a trail of a wild animal, follow that trail and have gotten lost. Be sure your pet has its collar and tags on in case it does get lost!

Pets are not allowed on the furniture. If however, your pet is small and you bring a sheet from home to cover the furniture before permitting the pet to get on it, it is okay.

Because the fiberglass bathtub units are easily scratched, pets must NOT be bathed in the bathtubs. The cabins are located on dirt roads so it is suggested that guests bring several old bath towels to wipe the pet's paws after walking outside. There are no leash laws so use of a leash is optional.
